Former Packer Joe Andruzzi at Boston Marathon bombing

Today's terrorist bombing at the Boston Marathon had a former Packer at the scene and was involved in helping others injured.

Former Packer and Patriot O-lineman Joe Andruzzi's cancer foundation supports many Boston Marathon runners and his Twitter feed suggested he was near where the first blast.

Appears he's OK and was rendering aid.


A brief bright spot in a very horrific day in Boston and the US.

Andruzzi's three brothers are all NYC firemen. One was in and barely got out of the second Trade Center tower before it collapsed on 9/11. His Father is a retired NYC policeman.

Seems Joe is the odd one in the family!
