i'd love to bring him back, he added a spark we didn't have without him. plus, i'm really not that excited about any of this drafts running backs to be honest

I tend to agree. It's a bit sad, but Ced looked better than his stats. Also, our run blocking seems to get better as the year goes on, so it would have been interesting to see how he fared late in the season.

If the Packers don't draft Lacy or Ball, he'll be back.

I'd be down with another vet min contract.

          UFA UFA UFA!

          Someone alert Bretsky.

I would have no problem bringing him back unless they draft a back in the top 3 rounds.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I'm okay with them re-signing the guy; then it's a question of who gets hurt first: him, Starks, or Green.

              May the healthiest man win!

Oh, and in the article you linked us to, I see that yet another Detroit Lion has been arrested. Cool!

All of the draft universe is convinced this is a draft gambit. So now everyone expects the Packers to be interested in RBs early.

Every year they say this stuff.

Lacy is the only guy that is worthwhile of a high pick for the pack.

Yes. I believe that TT has higher priority needs in Rd's 1-3 and after that he has to get busy and RB or wait too deep in this draft and take a flyer.

IMO Lacy is a slight notch below Trent Richardson and could be too good to pass on.

I guess I'm just not sold on Lacy. It's the whole Badger RB argument. Given the RB was behind such a good OL, is it the RB or the line?

That is true. But watch how many tackles Lacy breaks along with his open field ability.

Recall Richardson ran behind the same line and had a good rookie year.

Which means, of course, that it was a gambit to make everyone think it was a gambit.

So now Lacey will be snatched up before pick 26, leaving one more player in a pool the Packers really want.

Then they sign CedBen after the draft.
