I have a friend who was an insane Saine fan. Said he was fast, was tough, could be the starting running back. I never did see that - I saw a good special teamer, a guy who could catch the ball and run a little, but nobody special.

Feel bad that he lost his career though.

That one sucks. No wonder they wanted to keep Hawk and Jones.

I'm hoping this means they're feeling pretty good about Bishop's rehab.

Hopefully the packers can find better players in the draft.

                .

Might just mean that they know smith won't be ready for camp. Not worth hanging on to if he isn't.

Most posters, including me, saw more hope from DJ Smith than apparently the Packers did
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Wow. From starter to street. I would have guessed he showed enough to earn a free trip to PUP. Do we know when he was due back?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

It doesn't make sense from a money perspective unless you are certain they can't contribute at all this season. (Let's face it - these guys are not special in NFL terms)
