  • This has to hurt your draft stock

Dude gets arrested the night of the draft?
Cornerback Tharold Simon expected to hear his name called from the Radio City Music Hall podium sometime on Saturday, but having it called by police on Thursday could get in the way of that.

Tharold Simon day in Eunice? lol

Of course, his agent has already proven him innocent

That sound you hear, Tharold, is the money flying out of your wallet. You just went from late rounder to UDFA.

The big kiss of death that ruins prospects stock is when they have arms or a height that are an inch too short from ideal. Heaven forbid if they are 10 lbs off the ideal weight, then all hope is lost forever. I mean why even bother declaring for the draft when you have such a debilitating physical liability that will keep you from being anything but a JAG.
All hail the Ruler of the Meadow!

Yeah, this guy's a UDFA, no doubt, despite his obvious athleticism.

From arrested to non-ideal size to a one-armed tennis player.

Down the rabbit hole we go!

Well, I sheepishly admit this - I was bested at golf by a man with no arms

He had one stub that was long enough he could wedge specially made clubs to his body. His other arm extexted about 6 inches below his elbow. It was the damndest thing to watch.

I'm a pretty good golfer, a single digit handicap. We tee off on 1, and he's short of the green in 3, about 100 yds out. He holes the short iron for a par. I bogeyed the hole.

            wist dn 1

We both bogeyed each of the next 6 holes before the skies opened and we had to run for the clubhouse. The rain never let up and we had to call it a day - walking off the course 1 dn to a man with no arms, lol...

This guy is turning into a tire fire!

He fired his agents, apparently because he believed (believes?) he should have been the #1 pick in the draft!

This guy is going to fit in GREAT with the Jets. My prognosis? He pulls a VY and walk out on the team part way through the year. Unknown if he gifts a fan his shouler pads on the way out

I have to remember to mark Tharold Simon day on the calendar. He was drafted in the 4th round after all.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Oops, my last post was about Geno, not Tharold

It was in follow up to this from the draft thread

Not exactly exhibiting mental toughness there. Have to think that'll cost him.

He should show up with bells on tomorrow - literally. Have some fun with it, instead he's pouting. Are you allowed to be a diva before you're even picked?

                      Simon's story

Basically sounds like he was being black in Eunice, La. Reality is probably somewhere between the cop's and Simon's version, but I can see why Seattle didn't worry about it too much.
