Did the media offer Jeremy Ross an opportunity to shove his solid performance Vs the Green Bay Packers in the face of TT / MM / Slocum.....The Green Bay Packers?

If it was hockey (NHL) and the circumstances the same for any player i.e. released almost a month after the season began (Sept. 23, 2013). The NHL media would have given that player an open mike to slam his own team to say it felt good/great to shove it in the former teams face the fact he was released.
