Keeping him at starting CB is safe. I don't expect him to be significantly better than last year.[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

He gets to start this season and after that and inspite of any improvement over last season; except for taking a sizable salary cut...he's taking a similiar cut with another NFL team in 2014.
Tramone Williams simply needs to focus. Give errr and play very well this year without any excuse. If offered, even after improvement in 2013 over 2012... take that salary cut; a new contract with the Green Bay Packers, starting in 2014.
As I view 'the Big Picture'...his future as a Packer, is tied to 'just ' how much love TT/MM and Dom Capers have for the play of BJ Raji and weighed at mid-season 2013.

He'll lose his starting job to Shields or House. Then maybe he'll play well in a reserve roll as he faces the reality that he's run out the string on excuses. If he tries to make excuses for less than aggressive play and avoiding tackles, there'll be more teams than the Packers who won't be interested in 2014.

Where is the option to complain about the lack of poll options?
I'm surprised nothing has happened with respect to his contract yet, although unlike other teams, with the Pack generally nothing is heard until it is a done deal. That $8M cap hit is just too much
My choice is that he stays, but at a lower contract with some incentives.--
Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...

At least once he turned down a tackle against the Vikings in the Metrodome. Later attempts trying to show he was screened by another defender were unconvincing.Originally posted by rbaloha1 View PostCut along with salary cap number.
Good riddance to this non tackler that avoids contact. What game was it that Fox kept replaying which exposed TW as avoiding contact?

Tramon's a good pro and his game should have well but it's all going to come down to that shoulder of his. He's JAG if he's playing 10 yards off the line IMO.70% of the Earth is covered by water. The rest is covered by Al Harris.
