They only have 132 players on that board, but maybe experience tell them that that is enough since everyone they picked was on their board. It would be really interesting to see another teams board.
they said in one article that they only had players that they wanted on the board. everyone else in the draft they either didn't want, or thought were just undraftable

so they liked datone, they just didn't like him as a high round pick

The thing that surprises me is how few tiers there are. It's not like it's broken up into 20 tiers. Seems like trading back makes sense a lot of the time if you have this many draftable players in the same round

True, sometimes you can't help it. But I think the chart reflects the true desire of the team not to overvalue the players left and that is why there are not 32 players in each round.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I think at that point it becomes far harder to track where you are and what to do. With the chart as it is, all you need to do is ask how many players are left and how many picks are left.

So, who is going to keep track of the Dallas list, and post it in 4-5 years when it really will be worth discussing?????

We can go back and look at the Mike Neal draft.

And of course, Jimmy did a stellar job of drafting when he went to Miami.

He had a pretty good team in Miami. Better than Shula's. He never found a QB though. First picks in the draft helps when Aikman is available.

I spend too much time reading about and documenting past coaches...IMO....JJ.......one of the best ever. I would put him on top 5 hands down and maybe #3

But I wonder what would have happened if the Magic Man had not led up to two late season wins....pushing us to the #2 pick in the draft and getting us stuck with Mandarich

If Jimmy Johnson gets stuck with Mandarich instead of Aikman....wow...way different
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

If he gets Madarich insead of Aikman, it probably would've been different...but if the Pack was drafting #1, it's quite likely they still would've taken the former! Remember, he was the top rated prospect, and as you just pointed out, the Pack had a good, young QB in Magic!

I have had that discussion (while drunk) way too many times....or if we slipped back another pick and got Deion or Barry.

Anyway, in the spirit of the thread:

                            1) Packers (not just a homer, I believe it)
                            2) Broncos
                            3) 49ers
                            4) Patriots
                            5) Redskins (guess I am alone on this one).

I don't like Atlanta or Seattle, or even N.O. What do these teams have in common?

That draft had 4 HOF's in first 5 picks....we got Mandarich
