Well, they did say day to day in one report, which is a timetable but it covers out for the year at the same time.Originally posted by denverYooper View PostIf Patriotspeak is like Packerspeak, then that covers a whole range of possibilities.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Ya, I think Mallet-mania is much more likely...although isn't he out with a concussion right now? Maybe you're right, Tebowmania it is! They play in 2 days (Friday). Who else do they have in camp? Could Tebow conceivably start? If they win, is there a quarterback controversy?Originally posted by Joemailman View PostIf he's out, Tebowmania returns!

Raiders lost their starting LT, Veldheer, for the season (maybe "designated to return"):

Was yesterday Timmy Tebow's birthday? Mine is today. Eww. So I nearly share a birthday with Timmy Tebow, and share a birthday with Julia Child.
Sigh.
Ryan Mallet's an interesting guy. I still can't tell whether he's a potential NFL starter, or just a long-winged backup."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Word up here is that if Bishop can't get on the field and start making plays, he may not even make the team.Originally posted by Fritz View PostFor a guy so many Packer fans thought was irreplaceable, Bishop seems to be fighting to be a starter. Well, let's see what happens. If he gets healthy, gets on the field, makes physical plays, plays well, then Wist can say "I told you so."Originally posted by Cheesehead Craig View PostWord up here is that if Bishop can't get on the field and start making plays, he may not even make the team.

Eagles score TD on true "zone read triple option" w/ Cooper as option pitch. I guess this means Oregon will run Power-I come regular season
Things are getting weirder by the minute. Next you are going to tell me we are going to pay college athletes.
And that English soccer is going to be on an American over-the-air network.
* Just realized something. My kids are going to think TV's with antenna's are some old school witchcraft that only old cranks would watch. Kind of like how I viewed my Grandfather's shortwave and ham radios. Getting old.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

About 1998 there was still a rotary dial phone backstage of a theater we were using for a community play. A girl of about 12 needed to use the phone and was directed to its whereabouts. I'll never forget the mystified, bewildered look on her face as she re-appeared--stymied by wheel holes where the buttons should have been. She had a kind of "You have got to be kidding me!" look on her face as we described how fingers go into the numbered holes and spin up to the stop before letting it go to spin back and then do the next number. Sounds weird if you have to explain it.Originally posted by hoosier View PostIf you want to really freak em out, swap out the cordless (if you still have land line) for an old rotary phone from the basement.[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.
