      First year was 2010
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

He'll fit in well with the Packers IR... err, RBs.

Former Jets RB Joe McKnight is having a tryout for the Packers. Not signed at this point, as @MikeGarafolo reported. #nyj

Btw FA RB Joe McKnight has not signed with the Packers. Merely heading there for a workout at this point.

          Sanity returns.

            • Apparently he was cut in the first cutdown to 75 and has already cleared waivers.

              • Maybe he's going to be this team's Desmond Howard.

                • Well that was more fun than traditional cutdown days!

                  • McKnight is a kickoff returner, so it's conceivable that Ross would still be in the picture as 6th WR and PR if McKnight is even signed. McKnight could potentiallly be taking the place of Alex Green.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

                    • McKnight probably won't pass his physical.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

                      • He will be signed only if he is willing to play for the minimum and accept a split contract paying half that when he goes on IR.

I always thought that Green & Franklin were redundant, and one had to go. McKnight could be a better runner from scrimmage.

                            • I'm feeling pretty good about my roster prediction. I left Starks and Ross out. Green and Franklin may be redundant, but Starks is just a bad player with no ST value.
