  • That sequence was Pete Carroll's career in a nutshell. Packers give him 3 straight penalties and he turns it into worse field position by being overly aggressive.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Maybe he thought Masthay's leg would get tired.

      • Does anyone else believe the Packers are lacking a speed receiver like Jennings to stretch the field? (Well, the announcer said Jones is a "burner" so maybe I'm wrong.)
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

        • Twitter has Jeremy Lane baiting Means into that offsetting personal foul. One of the reasons McCarthy looked like Tuna out there.

Don't think Jennings was that much faster than anyone we have. Jones and nelson both have deceiving speed and Cobb is faster and more agile than jennings

You're right about Cobb. Nelson I guess. I hope they're both in shape to play the regular season because the receivers we got in this game may be as fast as Jennings, but they aren't as good route runners and getting separation downfield.

Jordy can stretch the field. And Cobb forces teams to worry about the middle which makes it easier to stretch the field. Besides, what good is stretching the field when Harrell is playing QB? They probably had hoped Charles Johnson would be stretching the field.

                • So who comes out at QB for the 2nd half? I want to see someone other than Harrell.

My god, Lacy and Harris have 8 runs for 8 yds. Maybe Wist is on to something.

I didn't see many holes. On one run Lacy broke three tackles just to get back to the line of scrimmage.

If Builaga and/or Sherrod were healthy, I think T.J. Lang would be in danger of losing his starting job.

I'm with you. The OL is a shambles. Seattle has some big boys up front.

All those lousy runs came when Harrell was in. If Harrell is playing, i'm stacking the box too. But the o-line showed nothing - no push, nothing

Need to run when Rodgers is QB.
