Since I called it last night and you didn't, I think this deserves its own thread.Originally posted by pbmax View PostPugs, its in the Roster Cutdown to 75 thread. We were trying to save computer bits.
I can't run no more
With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Very clear that they won't waste a third roster spot on a QB. Can't imagine anyone will have much interest in BJ Coleman, so he should make it to the PS easily (assuming he wants to or has no other PS offers.) Also, Harrell should be available to be re-signed if the need arises.

This is an unusual mea culpa from Wilde. I think it covers the Graham Harrell experience nicely. Also why you never trust what a coach says publicly.
Rather, this is an admission of guilt column; a should’ve known better column. Because in retrospect, the only surprise about the release of Graham Harrell should have been that the Green Bay Packers didn’t cut their backup quarterback before Saturday.
And it all comes down to one simple fact: When it came to Harrell, there were always more explanations for the lack of shining moments than there were shining moments themselves. And I was as guilty as anyone.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
