    Packers release tackle Williams


    Offensive tackle Todd Williams was released Wednesday morning by the Green Bay Packers.

    The 6-foot-5, 332-pound Williams sustained a knee injury during the fourth quarter of Saturday's preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. He was taken from the field on a cart.

    Williams, a three-year veteran out of Florida State, was signed July 30 as a free agent. He was listed as the Packers' third-string left tackle.

    May he get well soon enough to land a bouncing job in one of the better Miami nightclubs before the Spring Break busy season arrives.

          So help me No Mo Moss... when I found that (rather late last night) I read it and I had to read it twice to ensure it wasn't Corey Williams.
