I think they are worried that choreographed celebrations involving multiple players could led to stuff like

While I'm happy to see you interested in a female for once I have to admit you are cutting it close.

Couldn't they be mistaken for sisters?

In a sport where they only score on average once every nine games, they should get to excessively celebrate. If I followed that 'sport' I'd arrange a pot luck dinner for each score.

I enjoy soccer, and any sport were to score is a meaningful event. Don't care much for basketball where they score every blink of an eye.

It looks to me like Robin Thicke has touched something deep inside Miley.

Go ahead and make your sick, childish jokes. I'm telling you, it's already started:

                    We got Trouble
                    right here in title city
                    that starts with T
                    that rhymes with T
                    that stands for Twerking!

It's the quality of the activity that's the key. All-dunk basket ball is pretty dull, but a good game of b-ball has myriad ways of scoring and myriad ways of defending various player that's interesting and exciting. I'm certain there are all sorts of subtleties in soccer whereby an aficionado gets pumped by various trips up and down the field where a advancing dribbler is stopped and then stopped again and again. There are also some really exciting kicks that fly out of bounds, leading to exciting two hand over the head toss ins and some player positioning and genital protection strategies that increase the entertainment level as well.

Grit those teeth! Gosh, that's exciting!!!

None of which work, apparently, based on the frequency of scoring in a typical game!

In b-ball the difference between a good defense and a lousy defense is giving up 70-80 points versus 100-110 points. In football, it's the difference between allowing 280 yards and 579.

                              So you want excessive celebration?
