  • So, is this a concern for the O-line??????

    From MM conference last night:

On LT David Bakhtiari playing only one snap: "He temporarily hurt something that he overcame. He was schedule to play in the first series."
    "temporarily hurt something"??
    Played only one snap?

I read elsewhere he took a groin shot. I'm not concerned yet.

Its a concern but we should know soon how big. Because they would almost HAVE to pick someone up, or keep an extra backup if he is going to miss game time.

Second question: Datko really struggled at RT. Didn't we go through this last year where he was terrible there and much better at LT?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Sure. The problem for Datko is, if you can only play one position, it's hard to make the roster if you're not a starter.

Ya, we did. He played a fair amount of LT last week, didn't he? Maybe they just wanted a good evaluation on how versatile he was. Early in camp he was playing guard.

So in other words Bakh will be on IR tomorrow. This is how it usually goes with these vague descriptions of injury by MM.

If you hear M3 say "no timetable" or "getting second opinion" then its bad.

The 49er game could turn bloodbath pretty fast is the Packers come out sluggish.

I am hoping MM will give both guys help. Maybe a double tight end formation, keep the backs in to block, call more running plays, stuff like that.

He needs to remember the Seattle game last year.
