So his improvement there was no surprise.

What killed his chances was the inability to bring his practice hands to an actual game.
Agreed, however, I think guys who are smallish really have to make plays to make rosters. I like Harris, but said many times I thought they would cut him, but he made enough plays to be worthy.

TE's need size for 2 reasons, blocking being only one. They also use their bodies to shield out defenders and make big targets. If they are small, JJones does it just as well and is much faster.

And do Ryan Taylor's ST skills count more than Mulligan's blocking, then?

And where's raw-as-a-cracked-egg Brandon Smith's name? Don't tell me that dude will make the 53 over Tyrone Walker or Alex Green.
If it comes down to special teams, as it sometimes does, he might. He certainly has more physical ability as a gunner than the other 2.

Agreed. Without stellar hands and playmaking ability, he wasn't going to dominate in any other area.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

        • Everything has to done in 15 minutes. Not that we'll necessarily know in 15 minutes.

How many DL and DBs are left?

Raji, Pickett, Jones, Wilson, Jolly, Daniels Miller, Boyd, Neal*

Tramontana, Shields, Hyde, Hayward, House, Bush, Burnett, Banjo, McMillan, Jennings, Smith

Am I missing someone? If Packer Reports has the count right, we know all but 3 cuts. So three have to come from those.

Matthews, Perry, Mulumba, Palmer, Neal*, Hawk, Jones, Francois, Lattimore, Barrington

OK, one of three remaining could come from LBs. That would be 26 on D if 3 cuts are from here.

                            God. Two worthless players, IMO

                            • Jolly better not get cut... even though Mr. Spraypaintedhair only plays 2 DL at a time, Jolly proved he still has it.

When Capers is fired, whoever inherits the D will need Jolly.
