    Good question.

I think at the end of the day I see him getting $10M/year, but they might add years and funny money on the back end to make him feel good. Maybe 7 years $100M but paying 25 in each of the last 2 years?

If he keeps playing comparatively well, you tag him for a year. If he keeps playing well, you give him the contract. If he reverts into good ol' Jay, you cut him loose.

        Week 6

Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay 101.9 (5th overall) Last week 105.5

Jay Cutler - Chicago 95.2 (8th overall) Last week 93.0

Matt Stafford - Detroit 95.0 (9th overall) Last week 94.9

        Matt Cassell - Minnesota 92.0 (11th overall-non-qualifier)

Christian Ponder - Minnesota 65.9 (31st overall) Last week 65.9

Rodgers slipped a bit. Cutler with another strong week and took over 2nd place. Stafford continues to be solid. Looks like Cassell is the starter in Minnesota, at least until Freeman is ready.

        Week 7 Matchups:

        Aaron Rodgers vs. Cleveland
        Jay Cutler at Washington
        Matt Stafford vs. Cincinnati
Matt Cassell at New York Giants

That, unfortunately for the Packers secondary this coming week, may be all we see of Freeman in Minnesota. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ack-to-ponder/

            Best comment on that story
He probably got it when Frazier repeatedly slammed his head into the wall during the film session Monday.

Do you think you could tell from film of his throws when he got his brains scrambled?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Why Ponder? Was Cassell's win simply through luck?
