The Wilf's have been ordered to pay $84 million to plaintiffs in a court case over a housing development/management deal.
The order also calls for punitive damages that are not yet calculated and await a criminal probe. Apparently, though, according to PFT, Minnesota feels that the Wilf's have enough cash to handle the judgement and still contribute to the new stadium fund.
But if I were the State of Minnesota, I would hire extra accountants to keep tabs on Wilf related developments.
An appeal seems likely to be filed, delaying at least the punitive damages portion of the judgement.
