  • The extreme dislike for Aikman and Buck (or "BuckMan" as I like to call it)

    Yep,

I have the "extreme dislike" for both of them. They are FAR too frequently calling Packers games, and they consistently prove that no IQ is required. Sometimes it amazes me how often Aikman stumbles over simple words like "referee" and can't seem to get the proverbial jizz out of his mouth. Only to then have Buck say the exact word Aikman was trying so hard to pronounce as if he were teaching a frickin' 4 year old how to read.

Aikman: "He was carrying the f... f... foo.. (pause)

    Buck: "Football"

    Aikman: "That's right Joe, football.

And it's not just Packer fans who see it & feel this way. Eagles fans, Skins fans and yes - even DALLAS fans themselves have all piped in on how much these two bozo's suck it nationally on a weekly basis.

Stuff that might keep you entertained in this Packers Bye Week...

Dear FOX - Please don't have Aikman and Buck announce a Packer Game again. 35,101 likes. Troy Aikman clearly hates the Packers and still thinks he is the best quaterback ever and Dallas is "Americas...

    Awesome articles:

UPROXX is the modern home of Music Television, producing original video, series, and cultural storytelling with the artists and creators shaping today’s music culture.

Some pro football players are getting ready to get the team spirit fired up in Big D. The mayor's going to be there, along with a slew of other local celebs, all there to have a cheer leading session on how to make men better than the lowlifes they are.

Other board threads and stuff related to the "BuckMan" extreme dislike:

He is a "little" man who can not even come close to Packer Quality! Troy Aikman commenting on Packer games is like "W" commenting on Humanity. He is jealous of the amount of Unconditional Love and Devotion that the Packer Fans have always had and will always have for their team.

    I'm sorry and you're welcome.

No....don't wish Buck on baseball. The Buck-McCarver combo can ruin almost any game.

In Aikman's defense.....the guy's had like 25 concussions. The words don't roll off the tongue with speed or precision after #20.

He's OK though. As he has assured everyone numerous times, he's no authority on them as his personal experience has been no lingering effects during his second career as a greeting card author.

If they're that bad, why does FOX (who I think has a better overall program than CBS) continually tab them and trot them out as the #1 unit? At least I don't have to hear Billik going on and on and on about a play that happened three quarters ago.

A bit tangential, but it has to do with commentating, so I'll put it here. Did anyone else catch Collingsworth waxing sentimental about how problem players go to New England and just start behaving like model citizens? He was talking about Blount at the time and tried to expand that into a general statement. Um, Chris, there was a pretty high profile story out of New England this summer where a problem player got in a bit of trouble.

Yes. It kind of got dropped, not even sure Al acknowledged it much. Somewhat surprised we couldn't hear his producer screaming through Chris' earpiece.

I respect Chris Collingsworth's football analysis, but he does go off the rails once in a while.
