I remember Flipper Anderson. One or the premier long pass threats of his time. Played quite a few years..

Flipper saved a few fantasy teams in his day. He was not consistent or reliable but he put up points in bunches. he could ruin a week for a FF team.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

The LB that just plain jumpled the route as Stafford telegraphed it.

That Cowboy defense in the whole game, especially the 4th Q was some of the worst I've seen.

You just can't count on the Cowboys to do anything helpful.

You bet. We kept score on paper after reading the newspaper. I'll bet you have only seen those in museums.

Along with the answering machine we used for the official transactions wire.

With 1:07 left, #Cowboys runner down in-bounds. The holding penalty was declined. The clock stopped. NFL confirms that was correct to do so

Thanks pb, knew I could count on you to have the answer. Cowboys really blew the end of that game in every possible way.

As for these afternoon games, who would have thought the only close game would be Broncos/Redskins? And Redskins just took a 14-7 lead. WTF.

Are the Jaguars the worst team ever? Halfway through the season, they are being outscored by an average of 32-11. The Lions in 2008 were outscored 32-17. The Lions had a chance in a few of their games that year, losing 4 by 7 points or less. The closest the Jaguars have been was a 10 point loss to Oakland.

It seemed like Rodgers was really steamed on one play the week before Ross got cut -- the one against the Bengals when Roodgers rolled to his right and eventually tried to run in for a TD. I wondered what happened there.

And now this game isn't even close. 21-7 Washington.

21-7 now after Thomas fell down and it resulted in a pick 6. Boom or bust for these guys, I guess.
