  • Eddie Lacy - October Rookie of the Month

The Green Bay Packers running back on Thursday was named offensive rookie of the month for October, when he rushed for 395 yards in four games. That’s the most in the NFL by any player – veteran or rookie – during that stretch.

Lacy leads all rookies with 446 yards rushing this season despite missing one full game and more than three quarters of another because of a concussion.

The last Packers’ player to win offensive rookie of the year was running back John Brockington in 1971.

if it wasn't for the injury he would probably have top 5 numbers right now

i'd like to see his YPC imrove a bit, but the kid is the real deal for sure
