    Whats with Keyshawn Kissing it?

I'd be asking to have my locker moved farther away from him!

    Panthers' Diggs suffers knee injury

    NFL.com wire reports

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Aug. 24, 2006) -- Carolina Panthers starting outside linebacker Na'il Diggs suffered a right knee injury in the first quarter of Thursday's game against Miami and was not expected to return.

Diggs collapsed to the field while playing on special teams during a punt. He stayed on the ground for several minutes before limping off the field with the help of medical personnel.

Diggs was treated on the sideline, during which receiver Keyshawn Johnson came over and kissed an ice pack resting on Diggs' knee.

Diggs was signed away from Green Bay in the offseason and started ahead of Keith Adams in Carolina's first three preseason games. The Panthers had an opening at the position after Will Witherspoon signed with St. Louis.

he wasn't signed away from us, we let him go

anyways, i saw this last night and forgot to post it.

this is what happens when you play your starting players on special teams

you hope its not serious, but injury concerns were one of the main reasons we let him go. looks like it was the right move. oh and AJ makes the move look good too

Diggs, who was on crutches and wearing a knee brace after the game, said he would undergo an MRI on Friday.

"I got tripped up and caught up with some other players and it just got twisted up," said Diggs, who missed seven games last season with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his knee. "It feels different this time. Hopefully it's not as bad."
"I'd rather see the players' wives playing beach volleyball for Jello-shots in Honolulu between the division championships and the Super Bowl." Swede

Diggs would have cost about 3 million in cap this year.

It sure was unusual to see Diggs, Wahle, and Vonnie Holliday playing last night.

Starters on special teams is one thing. Starters on ST during the preseason??? stoopid

Diggs was injured every year. No surprise.
