interesting...very interesting. Tackling or rather lack there of, Capers D blowing games, players out of position, pad level? What could it be?

Is MM feeding us a line or is he actually going to do something.

I don't know, it could just be venting because they've looked pretty bad since Rodgers went down. But between M3 and Hawk I really wonder if they know about something specific? The organization in general, and those 2 guys in particular, have played things very close to the vest in PCs, so I'm curious to see if there's a fire behind that smoke.

No way. He played better than some starting QBs. You think Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker or Terrel Pryor have anything on his performance today?

Nope. It wasn't enough to win because the defense couldn't help him with his mistakes (well, they did help once with Williams strip sack).

The only time he looked vaguely practice squad-ish was in the red zone and he got one TD there.

Its either pass rush, safeties or tackling. Since M3 doesn't go after his own roster construction, I am betting tackling.

Or could be that nickel the Eagles were running on late. I don't know, nothing is a perfect fit except the safeties.

But given the way McCarthy deals with his coaches and lets the position coaches alot playing time (Trgo and Green decide when to sub backups in for instance, I bet Van Pelt makes the calls for the RBs) he might be talking about who starts in what packages. Benching players who are not performing has a precedent with M3.

So if not tackling, I am going with changing the starters (base or bus).

he trows the ball hard, that all he brings too the table. he made a lot of stupid decisions and was not all that accurate

his one TD the guy was open by about 10-15 yards and he still almost blew that throw

Reading later in that post, I found MM's quote about special teams being solid a bit of a head scratcher. Your kicker misses two field goals and that's solid??
