  • Worst back to back defeats since...

    Per Pro-Football-Reference.com:

The last time GB suffered defeats of 14+ points each in back to back weeks in the regular season:

    9/16/1990 CHI 31 GB 13
    9/23/1990 KC 17 GB 3

For comparison, the Vikings last suffered back to back defeats of this magnitude earlier in 2013, the Bears in 2011, and the Lions in 2010.

As a side note, GB did not have any defeats of 14 points or more in 2009, 2010, or 2011.

Lost 5 in a row in 2008. 4 were by 4 points or less.
      I can't run no more
      With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
      Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
      A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Is anyone really surprised after all thats happened this season? The Packer starting QB wasn't on the roster a few weeks ago.

Not really, but there was hope with an improved D earlier this year.

Most posters have been proven prescient that without Rodgers the team was sunk.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

It's not surprising, but it kind of is. Other teams starting QB can go down and their team still finds ways to win, at least a game or two. The way this team has performed without Rodgers seems much worse than just a week prior when we were all starting to think Super Bowl. It's hard to imagine this team will win a single game without Rodgers, and that is surprising.
