  • Mike Tomlin: Le'Veon Bell 'easy' choice over Eddie Lacy

Nice! Some bulletin board material. The quotes might not be as bad as the headline, but you know Lacy is going to be a brute this week.

Picking Le'Veon Bell over Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy in the 2013 NFL Draft was "an easy decision," Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday. Why did Pittsburgh pass on Lacy?
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

If he does, he's likely to end up like that Cincy punter who got blown up by a typical Pitstain cheap shot.

This is pretty thin gruel. What would have been remarkable would have been Tomlin saying "Oh, sure, I'd rather have Lacy than the guy we picked."

Hindsight is 20/20. They're not wrong for remaining confident in their player selection process at the time.

I said "Uncle Tomlin", cant help it if a sheet wearer like you automatically wants to get a rope at the sight of dark skin.

All Tomlin should have said was both players are good young RBs and are having excellent rookie seasons and left it at that.

I think Mike Tomlin got a bum rap on the tripping incident. No way he did it on purpose.

Lacy is impressive. I don't know how he can have a long career, but i guess Marshawn Lynch keeps playing.
