I think this is a devastating blow to the defense. I wanted Jolly to run away with the comeback player of the year award. I thought he added a much needed lead by example element of being tough just by being around. I hope his departure doesn't hurt the defense but I fear it will.

Hamstrings and necks, all year. Injuries suck.

The blow of that bad news was somewhat softened today as the members got the early reports out.

I said to Mae...It appears as if we lost Jolly. That isn't good but here we go again...Next Man up.

Hopefully it doesn't need surgery, but to facilitate that outcome, yes, he needs to be shut down.

After sitting for most of the year, looks like Josh Boyd will be getting lots of playing time. Not sure if C.J. Wilson is healthy.

Kudos to him for accomplishing what he did this season. Hopefully, this is just another "speed bump" on his road to recovery.

Bulging C5 is scary. I hope this isn't careered threatening.

I thought I heard Wilson was practicing this week.

What did Sean Richardson have? If it was a C5 then Jolly could come back too.

He had a disc problem at C4-5 or C5-6. Whichever it was, they did a fusion and it took care of the problem. A lot depends on how much damage has been done, how sturdy the repair can be and if there will be lingering effects (scar tissue) in this column.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
