I don't think this article by ESPN was any more or less credible than the Wisconsin State Journals
I haven't read the ESPN piece but you are over reading the WSJ and Green Bay Press Gazette Dougherty article.

He said it was Thompson's call as for as authority mattered, but he did not say he had made it. He could only infer Rodgers didn't bench himself and that McCarthy was lobbying Thursday for him to play.

PD had no info on what Doc told TT or M3. He could only infer Thompson's call.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

            • I'm gonna throw this out there because I haven't pissed anyone here off for a few days. IF the injury to Rodgers is as they say, they mailed this season in by not playing him. This is football not ballet, there's always a chance of getting hurt. Why not just keep Rodgers out forever, that way he won't get hurt again. Boy looks like Nick perry was an awesome pick too.

                  • Let them score.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

And we will thanks to special teams. No excuses for three special team penalties and two long returns!
