    Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 21m
That doesn’t bode well for him playing RT @davebirkett: Calvin Johnson is not taking part in early warmups with the Lions' QBs and WRs

    ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk 21m
Report: Doctors recommend knee surgery for Calvin Johnson http://wp.me/p14QSB-9n9V
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Today's inactives: Lions WR Calvin Johnson, Browns CB Joe Haden, Panthers WR Steve Smith. Actives: Browns TE Jordan Cameron, RB Ray Rice.

    ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk 13m
Case Keenum is inactive, which means Matt Schaub has a chance to clinch the top pick for the Texans http://wp.me/p14QSB-9na6

    Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 16m
And so, in Week 17, two of the QBs we spent the year talking about — RGIII and Josh Freeman — are inactive.

Yee-HAW!!! RT @BlkSportsOnline BSO: Jerry Jones Says Cowboys Plan On Sticking With Tampa 2 Defense http://bit.ly/19tONgW

I think it might be fun to work for Jerry, but there would always be decisions made that you know would be best left to someone else. Like when you are a bottom rated defense and you make the call on your scheme based on you incomplete talent conversion.

@SI_DougFarrar @BlkSportsOnline From the newspaper article it sounds more like he was talking about being a 4-3 team than Tampa 2 stuff

9ers, vs. AZ, winner is in?? Or can AZ win and still stay home? They deserve to be there it would seem. Is there a chance that SF comes to Lambeau? I want revenge on those punks.

AZ can win and get snubbed.

San Fran at Lambeau in Round One is a distinct possibility.

I hate it but I'll take it and the 49ers do not want to go there.

OK, can anyone beat this playoff scenario should the Packers win?

Panthers (@Falcons), Saints (vBucs) and Cardinals (v49ers) all win. Sending Saints on the road to Green Bay, 6th seeded 49ers on road to Dallas/Philly. Seahawks are a nightmare at home no matter what but you might get the Panthers in Carolina instead.

Not really game related, but read something that warmed my heart today. Have to love Florio and his mud slinging at times

A year after being fired by the Broncos in the wake of only own playoff win following a pair of decade-old Super Bowl victories fueled by a team he didn’t build and held together by salary-cap violations, Shanahan landed in D.C. as the man firmly in charge of the football operation.

I like that because the Saints 'are ain't' on the road this season. That would be lovely.

Really though..... just give me the Pack over the bears and whatever comes next.

There is still some hope for Leslie Frazier as the players like him.

Shanahan and Schwartz are looking for work tomorrow.

Shanahan has been going through the motions for weeks now. The situation in Washington isn't good for any HC.

Sexy Rex is going to be OK as the jets Big Gut likes him. He gets one more season and the failure there will fall on QB Geno Smith's Rookie season.

All the Jets still want is a QB. It's "been a long time ..been a long long time"... since...?
