  • His is bringing in Jeff Tedford as his OC (former head coach of Aaron Rodgers) and Leslie Frazier as his DC. That seems promising. Not sure how Tedford will translate in the NFL but its a experienced bunch with some past success.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I was worried he was going to the Loins. Lovie is a quality coach. Don't know about Tedford in the NFL though...

Guessing they brought in Tedford to help groom Mike Glennon whos a promising young QB. This is the guy NC State decided to go with over Russell Wilson when he wanted to return for another season. I like the hires by TB, NFC South will be loaded next season.

          • Seems like there are zero Packer coaches attracting any attention. Wonder why that might be.

They know Slocum loves Green Bay too much to ever leave.

I don't think the Packer's coaches are allowed to interview anyway. Coaches whose teams have byes can interview during their bye week, otherwise, I think they have to wait until their teams are eliminated from playoffs.

Ah, I forgot about the bye week thing. That's why some coaches from teams still in playoffs are getting interviewed.

Seems kinda funny that the successful teams mostly have their coaches cut off from potential interviews, but coaches that have failed are available for interviews (but mostly for assistant positions!)

Yup watch out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the next 2-3 seasons.

I like what I've seen in QB Mike Glennon. I like a lot of their players. This franchise simply needs good leadership and maybe this move is the right step in that direction.

So Frazier was unemployed for 24 or so hours. Did Minnesota make a mistake letting him go, or is he a better coordinator than HC?

IMO, Minny made a huge mistake letting him go, that said, I do believe he will be a much better DC than head coach. Maybe the vikes will give Les Steckel a whirl again, he seems about as quirky as the Wilfs.

I'll be honest. I remember his tenure as the DC in Minny with HC (Head Coach and Head Chauffeur) Chilly as pretty successful.

But he had the Williams Wall, Jared Allen and the world's smallest big hitting corner (cannot remember his name) on the team. That plus Henderson and the unforgettable DE opposite Allen (name forgotten) made up a pretty good cast. So he could be a genius or just run of the mill with good personnel, I am not sure.

Dungy thinks highly of him, but he also like Caldwell in Indy.
