Wow. Fourth and eight and a field goal isn't enough to win the game. This....almost....takes the sting out of 4th and 26.

It's funny, for me the Superbowl win in 2010 erased all those bad memories and regrets. It's like a reset. unfortunately, now I am accumulating new regrets: The Giants loss (hail Mary, Finleydrop/Rodgers-Jennings misses), the niners loss (579!), but still all good because a lot of teams aren't even getting a sniff at the playoffs.

nothing ever takes the sting of dumb playoff losses that were there for the taking. Those are lost moments in and of themselves.

579 you say. I almost forgot about that without rbaloha1 posting it every other post and some other shit about killing our families.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

This, they're getting more takeaways in the last few games, and it seems lately like they can be successful in third and long if they can get there. Their dime group (Richardson/Bush/Hyde), seems to be aware of where the sticks are.

Problem is, with little pass rush and a run defense that can be had, teams can stay ahead of the sticks for quarters at a time and get a few (often successful) shot plays in.

The Packers are the only NFC team to make the playoffs each of the last 5 years, 1 of which resulted in a SB. Not too shabby.

The Giants/9ers stuff happens to teams who are there a lot. Brady has had some terrible games some years because he's almost always there and some years good teams just have the recipe to beat the tar out of other good teams. I remember the Pats-Ravens in 2009, Brady just got pasted that game, threw 3 INTs, and the Pats were out of it after the first quarter. Not unlike the Giants game for Green Bay. The next year, they lost to the Jets in a game that wasn't the pasting on the scoreboard, but IIRC, the Jets punished Brady for the whole game.

Then there are the Giants, who seem to either fail miserably in the regular season or then eke in and then tear ass through the playoffs. Now, if we can only get Datone Jones to turn into 2011 JPP for the next month...

                        Jordy was sick on Sunday:

Rodgers: "Jordy (Nelson) was throwing up on the bus after the game." All he had was 10 catches for 161 yards.

Probably from the shot he took 9 yards down the field on the TD pass to Cobb.

The funny part is Bears fans were tweeting the wrong Chris Conte.
