The spots of the ball by the refs have been terrible for Wisconsin and great for South Carolina. SC gets an additional yard each play, we get minus 1 yard each play. The phantom hold in the 3rd quarter following the SC fumble was the turning point of the game though. We lost it at that point.

The play calling in the second half has been terrible. Went away from the really cool option running plays. First drive we run all the way down the field and then do two passes not involving play action. Late in the game we go on 3rd and 4th and 1 and run into a 10 man box right up the middle. We didn't do any of those things in the first half, so not sure why we did them in the second half.

MM is secretly calling the plays, as is Capers calling the D.

I think its the same OC and same plays. But its Phillips versus Stave as far as the Defense is concerned.

EDIT: Well, that is probably too easy. I am sure that after Stave's injury, they did not use the entire playbook on that first drive when Phillips came in.

Probably not, and then there was NO reason to go for it on 4th and 1. Should have attempted the field goal.
