To be fair, the Packers looked like the better team. Franklin had that costly fumble. Plus, it was in Cincinnati.

i could have sworn another team playing against us had this ruled a catch because you only had to maintain the ball after you hit the ground in the endzone

i still have no fucking clue what a catch is anymore, and it doesn't seem like the announcers, players, or refs do either

You have to first of all be in bounds or inside the end zone with the ball properly secured.

Then when you hit the ground you get a second look to see if your properly securing the ball and it has never touched the ground (carpet) whatever you've fallen to.

Several seconds may pass and you still must have possession of the ball.

Now all that changes depended on which Officiating team your game was blessed with.
