first off, if its something made up by the team to be a "tradition" then its not a real tradition

if they admitted that they cheated, then why are they allowed to keep their trophies?

Well, they wouldn't do that...the NFL doesn't go back and change results or set aside decisions...never have, and can't see they ever will. Fail Mary and Testaverde's helmet TD are the two examples that come to mind where they admitted wrong and it definitely changed the outcome, but they did not change the result.

But they should at least admit what happened when they talk about it.
