Barring some crazy ass winter weather I think the edge goes to Denver. Seattle has the better defense for sure, but they won't have the benefit of the 12th man making life difficult for Peyton to audible and run the hurry up.

Yes, the Seahawks stifled the high powered Saints offense but I think the Broncos coaching staff will come up with a far better gameplan than the Saints did (who became obsessed with running screens and east/west plays on a fast defense). Plus I think the Broncos have more overall offensive talent than the Saints do so it should make it quite the interesting chess match.

If Wilson plays like he did against the 49ers, Seattle loses. He is capable of better but I have not seen it lately.

I psyched myself out last week. All year I picked a Denver Vs Seattle SUPER BOWL and what did I do last week...Every time I second guessed my analysis this season... I lost.

On my commute this morning, I was thinking this morning that both of these teams are running on a lot of FAs and may or may not last longer than 2 years at best. I don't have time to look into it, but IIRC Seattle has about 10 FA DEs and Denver has Manning, Welker, Pot Roast and several other FAs who are not long for this league. Denver was in "win now" mode once they signed Manning. We'll see how it works out.

Seattle also has Sherman to worry about. I believe he's finishing out year 3 of a 4 year rookie deal. Have to think him and his agent want to get a deal done. Even if he takes a discount to to get locked up early that's going to be a significant amount of money.
