I think it's fantastic that the news cycle is wringing every last little bit of juice out of Dickie Sherman's postgame comments.

Why can't they give that man a break!? Good Lord what did that sideline reporter think she was going to get?

He likely went about three hours without smokin' up. He was tense...wound up like a spring.

She should have simply said ... something like.... " Nice game Richard well actually an awesome game and my Family loves you.... I love you ! "

or stroke his ego another way:

"May I have your sweaty towel. I've a girlfriend ( substitute anyone appropriate; and remember he's tight ) that's a huge fan."

I'm pulling for the Broncos for a number of reasons.

If the Seahawks win, though, the Packers could be one of the potential opponents for the kickoff game next season...

The Seahawks use to be one of my favorite teams. Zorn to Largent. Zorn to Largent.

Now they have Pete Carroll and the Fail Mary, I can't stand them anymore.

I saw the sound fx on yahoo. I am now a big Sherman fan. I loved it. BTW-Crabtree is a punk. F it, I'm all in for the Seachickens against Manning. Hate Carroll, but other than him I like how that team plays.

The local drivetime was discussing the average age of the Broncos vs Seahawks rosters and mentioned that the Broncos were the 5th oldest on average whereas the Seahawks were the 4th youngest. Google-fu brought me the chart on this page:



The "PaCKERZ R too YUNG!" argument usually rears its head when they struggle. This year, though, they had a slightly older (as of 9-4-13 but I think it's still true) roster than Seattle.

Seattle also has no player with Super Bowl experience on its roster.

the Packers live in a conference with lots of evil empires. since they've all been vanquished but one i'm all-in for the broncos to eliminated that last one. i'm an nfc guy but sea just isn't likable in my book.

Things could switch around dramatically.

I like the direction the Philadelphia Eagles are taking.

Their making a quick turnaround given the way their 'D' ... well actually 'overall team collapsed' in season's just prior to 2013. It looks like they selected an outstanding aggressive hard working HC ( Chip Kelly) to swing the wheel and get the Eagle players to man up on that ship. It's though to keep a good Irish chap down.

You get nowhere fast not being aggressive in the NFL. See the Green Bay Packers last three seasons and growing issues. The Packers are now poised to sink like an anchor lifted to the gunwales.

EB was a very smart man.

I'm becoming more and more alarmed at the soft attitude in Green Bay and that 'will' damn the Green Bay Packers. I refuse to bend to those that are so blind not to see the clear writing on the wall. The Green Bay Packers management and the MVP player Aaron Rodgers have to collectively give their heads a shake .....fast !

Another team that won't likely be kept down is the NO Saints but Drew Brees is looking a tad tight 'in BIG Games'. In the game of football it can be right here ..right there ...and suddenly right gone so very quickly.

NFL team management's in control of contending teams must strike when the fire in their teams belly is hot or forget it. That isn't happening with OUR Green Bay Packers. I see little sign of a significant change. I'm always hopeful that it will arrive; and in this 'Off Season' we see some definite signs that's the case.

"Manning only has 72 attempts greater than 20 yards (four per game) all year and produces most of his offense with the short passing game. Seattle safety Earl Thomas will play a big role in convincing Manning to throw the ball where the Seahawks want him to by baiting the QB with coverage disguises. Manning will not use motion to disguise or change formations. He would much rather come up to the line and read the defense.
