  • HOF Spat: Sapp vs. Strahan

I like anyone who calls Warren Sapp a "coward" and a "sheep." I like it better when they can back up if need be.

Sapp says Strahan doesn't belong in the Hall of Fame.

Strahan doesn't care what Sapp thinks; "I don't respond to him because the tiger does not pay attention to the opinion of a sheep."

If Warren Sapp had a vote, Michael Strahan would never get into Canton. The former Buccaneers star, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame last summer, told reporters during a luncheon…

I agree with Sapp - Keep Strahan out of the HOF!

i got a kick out of this when i read it yesterday, because i do not think sapp was anywhere close to being a hall of fammer. he was a very good player, but he was no where near the best of the best

most of sapps fame came from being the mortal enemy to the ultimate good guy at the time (favre). a relationship almost entirely made up by sapp

Sapp is just jealous that Strahan still has the money he earned playing football. And has a better TV gig.

            Busted!

Fame is fame, Red. Strahan might get in just due to familiarity. It's happened to others...

Let Strahan in! He earned it!

                Poor Bubba Franks.

It was the first clear, public and unequivocal sign that a separate agenda was in operation. It didn't cost the team anything in the game but some self respect was shed.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Well, there were enough people who disagreed with you, seeing as he got in on the first ballot! I don't know that his notoriety helped that much.

Isn't he on the idiot box next to that Ripa lady. I dunno, but having that shrill voice in your ear for however many hours can't be good, especially when it's 'balanced' by Jimmy Johnson in the other ear on the weekend. Hey, maybe he should get the HOF due to a pity vote!

Red, the guy was a HOFer all the way.

The best 3 tech in the league for many seasons with a long career to boot.

He had double digit sacks from that spot 4 times.

You don't think he's a HOFer bc you hate his guts.

Many do, but that doesn't negate the guy's career.

I agree. There was a period of several years where he was darn near unblockable. He had no class, and still doesn't, but he was great on the field.

Sapp is talking lol? I would vote Strahan before Sapp for the hall any day. Strahan at least is not a fake like Sapp....Sapp goes on TV and tries to act like a nice guy even though he's a prick in real life.

Sapp and Strahan are both HoF players. Sapp was more dominant of the two, but is a known bitch and no one respects him for anything other than his play. Now that he's retired, nobody really respects him at all. Strahan, on the other hand, is seemingly a good guy and people can actually stand to be around him.

No reason for anyone to side with Sapp on this one, or really ever. He's just a big stupid dick.

We need to let red stay sharp by hating on Sapp because at some point we may need to infiltrate Sharper's HOF induction with a 4th and 26 sign and I need some backup.
