I suspect someone with a higher number was cut/released or had an expiring contract because two guys at 9.75 mpy and others at 8 mpy, even with Revis, don't give an $11 million franchise tag. Icould be wrong, but that chart doesn't let you go back to 2013 to look.

well thats average per year for the life of their current contracts, there's guys that are entering the later parts of their deals where the cap numbers are higher

just like shields cap number this year is 6.5, other guys with much higher cap numbers for this year

Your a long time Packer fan and know the score with Ted Thompson - the Green Bay Packers " dynamic GM ". That man may very well for him test Packer Nations patience as "the cream of the FA crop", is scooped from under our nose's.

He wasn't worth the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, but Jackson has developed into an excellent run-stopping 3-4 defensive end. There aren't a ton of guys quite like him.
