Ward was 4 year deal with same guaranteed. Mitchell is longer deal with worse average unless I have become completely confused.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Browns signed restricted free agent WR Andrew Hawkins to a four-year offer sheet.

The Bengals will have ten days to decide whether to match the deal and keep Hawkins in Cincinnati.

            • the real bad news is that the eagles and bears have filled other holes but still have not fixed their holes at safety

they both badly need safeties and both draft ahead of us in the draft

Either way PB and Red, I think that's too much for someone like Mitchell who has had one somewhat decent year playing on one of the league's best D's.

Eagles got Jenkins from N.O. Red. I don't think they'll be looking to take a safety right away now.

                      red means:

No safety in FA (Bears and Eagles) spells bad for us in the draft as they both pick before us and their priority logically could very well be a pick for need at Safety.

I feel like I just entered an alternate universe Woody. Lol! I get what Red is saying but my point is that the Eagles did fill their hole at safety by signing Malcolm Jenkins from New Orleans so even though they draft ahead of us I don't think drafting an early round safety will be high on their priority list anymore.

Conversely, the Bears also signed safety Ryan Mundy away from the Giants today so maybe safety won't be as high on their draft priority list now either.

I think this could be a sneaky good, Ryan Pickett-like signing for the Vikings. Disappointing--since they were off to a great start (from a Packers fan point of view) with the money they gave Cassell and Griffin.

i forgot about those two. maybe they won't need to go safety now

though is mundy really any good?

To be honest I don't know much about Mundy at all Red. Could be a lower tier signing for depth or a back up just in case their top choices at safety, (Prior or Clinton-Dix) aren't available when it's time for them to pick. Who knows with the Bears but I have to guess they are looking at drafting D early.
