I agree with your top 3 picks. I wish we could get better value in the 2nd round, but Bucannon is going to be overdrafted because of positional scarcity and it's no secret we need a safety...

Solid. Shazier is a very intriguing prospect. With his speed, he might be the new ideal ILB. He can blitz, cover, run sideline to sideline, and tackle. The knock on him is his size and ability to take on blockers, but he added about 10 lbs for the combine and he is now almost the same weight as AJ Hawk. He could turn out to be a one of a kind player or a complete bust, but his upside might be worth the risk. I like going defense with the first two picks, but I like Terrence Brooks best after Clinton-Dix. I like the rest, but this is one in a lifetime talent at WR and I think it would be a very bad idea to not take one in the first 3 rounds. Round 3 should still be loaded with players with 2nd round talent.Draft Brandin Cooks WR OSU!

Gayle would play OLB. Kirksey and Kennard would be inside guys. Ellis is a true NT.
I would have liked to make some kind of deal to trade up from the 2nd to get Mosley (he fell a bit into the mid 30s) but I don't have the Fanspeak Premium access.

I have Sirius-XM, and on NFL Radio's "Moving the Chains" they did a fan participation mock draft. I'm not sure how they lined up each fan of each team choosing for the team. When they got to pick #21, the pick was Ryan Shazier. Here is the complete results of the fan draft:

what was interesting about the Fan Draft....no QB's taken in round one. I doubt that occurs although I can see the QB's really slipping..some into round two. I do think Johnnie FB is going round one for sureTERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

1 day away... opinion has changed on some guys, other guys I've added... I just threw this draft together to see what it would look like...
1, 21 - Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville
2, 53 - Dante Moncrief, WR, Old Miss
3, 85 - Westin Richburg, C, Colorado State
3, 98 - Telvin Smith, LB, FSU (just found out he failed drug test at combine - probably knocked him off Ted's board)
4, 121 - Crockett Gilmour, TE, Colorado State
5, 161 - Dexter McDougal, CB, Maryland (depends on his shoulder, but hell of a player if docs pass him)
5, 176 - Jeff Matthews, QB, Cornell
6, 197 - Matt Patchan, OT, Boston College
7, 236 - Matt Hazel, WR, Coastal Carolina
I like some of these guys... If we missed on Pryor, Clinton-Dix, or Roby at the top of the draft, I really like McDougal if he's healthy. If he's healthy, he might not be there in the 5th round.wist

It sounds like Shazier is the guy everyone has the Packers pegged for. I just don't like it. Shazier is nice and fast, but he's not very big. Not as a physical a guy as I would hope the Pack could get. Plus, I just don't trust Ohio St. LBs...too bad of a track record. I hope the Pack gets Clinton-Dix

Agree re: Shazier, too small. Unfortunately, Clinton-Dix may not be around when the Packers pick. I'd prefer a safety like Pryor or Clinton-Dix (if available) vs. a LB. Marqise Lee of USC would be tempting, but you can still get value at 2nd round #53.Originally posted by SavedByGrace View PostIt sounds like Shazier is the guy everyone has the Packers pegged for. If Ted Thompson is BPA and his grades are similar to NFL.Coms. If he has a shot at either of FS Hasean Clinton-Dix and WR Marqise Lee.Originally posted by digitaldean View PostAgree re: Shazier, too small. Then based on BPA. It's likely WR Marqise Lee.
Hasean Clinton-Dix:
