  • MCGINN'S ANNUAL SOFT PREDICTION

Also comments on other scouts calling Shazier very explosive...etc...and ends with if the LB's and S's are gone and TT can't trade down he'll probably go BPA at WR or CB.

Notes if Ebron or Beckam falls TT would probably grab them
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I especially liked the last line of his article.

Thankfully, the endless speculation soon will end with the start of this needlessly drawn-out draft process that is consistent with NFL greed but also could damage the game as played on the field.

This is lame. Someone should tell Bob that he - and a ton of people - make a living off NFL 'greed.' Seems like there is plenty of interest and excitement in the 'needlessly' drawn-out draft process. Bob might also recall a time, in his youth, when players didn't make enough to train year-round, so as to have to come into camp 'dangerously' out of shape, which surely damaged the game on the field as much as it put these callow youth at risk. Hopefully Bob can save the greedy NFL from itself and turn the product into something fans actually like, as opposed to this horrible draft process that no one follows or takes interest in.

Maybe. But you can always overdo something. Who Wants To Be a Millionaire was on TV 8 nights a week for a while, but eventually just wore out its welcome and sank like a stone.

The largest number of football fans these days are not die hards, so they could be much more easily swayed by alternatives.

The saving grace is that the draft is once per year. I think a bigger problem is 4 night a week pro football.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

When Regis Philbin starts covering the NFL, look out.

The NFL will wax and wane like any other entertainment. Probably will end with a fusion of arena and lingerie leagues, bike helmets and gay leotards:
