RED..did you see KC is trying to trade out guy Brandon Flowers ?? Interesting now.....how teams are sometimes trying to trade stellar players at certain positions as opposed to paying that position high money.

The price to trade up to the Houston pick should be dropping fast.....

Or they may not be nearly so motivated. If they trade for Mallet with the idea that he can be their starter, than one of the big reasons for trading down, not wanting to spend the first pick on a QB who is not worthy, goes away. They can take Clowney or Mack.

I am sold on Jordan Matthews to where I would not be heartbroken if we traded down to round two top and drafted him. The dude lives and breathes football. He got in trouble in college classes for bringing his IPAD to class and studying film. He spent countless hours breaking down the oppositiions DB's and has studied countless WR's in trying to get better. Class act

What does Mallet bring in a trade ? A 2 ? Hmmm....I would trade a 3 for him in a heartbeat if I needed a QB.

I'm sure they are asking a 1st; but I bet they'd take a 2nd.
Flowers is an all pro but he's due a big payday and they don't wanna pay him.
Wonder if we could trade Tramon Williams and a pick for Flowers ? We pay Tramon big bucks this year. Rotate the ching to Flowers
I'm not sure our future cap could handle it though.
Plus then TT would bring in somebody BOTH you and I like; that never happens !!!!!
