He a perfect fit for our scheme which is why I liked him over several other WRs mentioned on this board. I think I'm the only one who has even mentioned Davante Adams....LOVE THE PICK! Typical TT WR, always goes after WRs with good hands who catch the ball away from their body. He reminds me of James Jones of course but also Crabtree.

Similar to Jones in body type and athletic ability. Similar in how he comes back to the ball. Different because this guy "tracks ball well over both shoulders" vs not being able to track the ball over either shoulder or going away in any fashion I like the pick. Tt has had some luck on 2nd round wrs. I have a feeling this is going to work out.

I am kind of pissed the the Jets; they are barely ahead of us and drafted both guys that would have been perfect fits in GB. I may stand alone in wanting the TE the Jets nabbed but I think there will be a good WR in round 3 also.

looks like a poor mans Larry Fitzgerald. Elite ball skills. Catches the ball no matter where its thrown. Big, physical, excellent leaping ability. Agile, sudden, not fast but not slow either.

Draft Insider had Adams as the 7th best WR and #45 overall.

Good size too and not fast fast ...yet... decent straight line speed.

Graded at 5.78....4.56 40 and 14 Reps....a 39.5 inch Verticle.... a 10 '- 3 " broad jump.

All very decent measurable.

So who are we hoping for round 3 ? After the Iowa TE, who I assume will be gone, there is a huge dropoff.

My guess is we look at CB,C, a Slug, or TE if one is there ?
