they have been brilliant in targeting spots they want to move to and then getting their guy
My gut says TT was licking his chops waiting for Nix
But the texans were not going to let that happen

They have the best Defender in the draft, a stud OG, a good TE, and then leaped us to get a NG that was supposed to get drafted way way earlier

I'm okay with drafting developmental guys as long as they have significant upside. Any GM who drafts players based on what they will do as a rookie is a fool.

I like the Thornton pick as well, dude has a motor and goes all out on every play. Thats especially hard to do when your team only wins one game in 2 seasons.

What don't you like about the Rodgers pick? His game or you just think we selected him too early? This draft class was weak at TE and we really never got a chance to pick one of the bigger names. He needs to work on his blocking but the like the fact that his dad is the special teams coach for the Panthers. If he can bulk up and his dad could teach him a few pointers he might turn out to be a nice player for us. Being a former WR I like his hands and he seems he knows how to find the soft spots in zone coverages. Head coaching changes, position changes, and injuries seemed to derail him in college but reports say he'll be a better pro.
