    • I agree. Nothing pops off the charts on this pick. Good athlete. Sounds like he was a good player. But shit, this is a deep draft and the late middle ofmthe 3rd....

Like Red said, this means he'll be a pro bowler.

      • Now I know why we haven't heard anything about this kid...they have only 1 win the past 2 seasons.

demonstrates good effort laterally and downfield in pursuit, along with surprising speed for a man his size (5.03 in the 40 at the Combine).
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Arms are a little short, if that kind of thing matters to you. (Insert joke here.)

Team captain and 3 year starter, so that's a plus. Like I said, feels like a bit of a reach in R3. Seems like you'd go with less of a developmental guy, but whatever. He's a Packer now, and TT knows more about football than I do. My guess is he's insurance/competition for Boyd and maybe Worthy. I think Raji and Guion are gone after this year, and Jolly and Pickett aren't coming back, so they'll need bodies at DT.

Depth pick. Probably won't be active on Sundays this year.

            • i said before the draft that i was tired of throwing high picks at the d-line. thats probably why i'm ticked

              • If he is meant to play NT, why not get this guy? He is huge in every way, and looks reasonably fit fat instead of fat fat.

                • I see the guy Harv liked, Cody Latimer went a couple picks after the Packers 2nd round choice, to Denver. It will be interesting to watch how him and Adams develop.

                    Funny, Red.

Bretsky, yer right, short for a 5tech, way too light for the nose.

This is a real wait and see job.

Now that the 2014 Super Bowl is sewn up, time for rest.
