    Neal could have a real chance. Sounds like he can stick his foot in the ground and go.

    http://www.draftinsider.net/reports/2014/RB/Rajion-Neal

    Rajion Neal
    School: Tennessee
    Position: RB
    Positive: Posted career-best totals of 1124 yards rushing and 12 TDs last season when he became the Volunteers' full-time ballcarrier. Also added 27 receptions and 108 receiving yards. Posted 708 rushing yards as a junior, when he started six games. Underrated runner with the physical ability and skills to play at the next level. Tough, resilient, and works as hard as possible to pick up yardage. Patiently waits for blocks develop, slashes through the small openings on the interior, and falls forward when tackled. Keeps his feet moving, flashes power and picks his way on the inside, quickly getting through the running lanes. Solid receiver out of the backfield. Runs with instincts, uses all his blocks, and quickly gets back to running form off the initial hit.
    Negative: Not a ballcarrier who consistently turns the corner. Possesses more of a burst of speed and cannot run to daylight. Not a back who's going to create yardage or make multiple defenders miss.
    Analysis: Neal showed steady development the past two seasons and moves towards the draft as one of the more underappreciated running backs available. His size, ball-carrying skills, and pass-catching abilities are late-round worthy.

      Jonothan Franklin better be going to a healer for his neck problem. He's going to hurt it again soon when camp starts and he whips his neck around to see all these UDFA's zooming past him on the depth chart.

        Prefer Perkins just from watching the highlights, but have no strong opinion really.

            Hubbard passed his physical. NFL.com had him projected to rounds 3-4. Not bad for a UDFA signing.

              This fella may be better as an answer at TE than prospect draft pick Pick #98...Richard Rodgers:

              What's wrong with...TE prospect Colt Lyerla - Oregon Pac-12 ;

              Combine Results

              Grade 5.36; -40; 4.61 SEC (Top Performer) ; 15 REPS BENCH;

              39.0 INCH Verticle: Top Performer and a 128.0 INCH BROAD JUMP and again " a Third Top Performance"

                Colt Lyerla was once viewed as one of the top tight ends in college football during his career at Oregon, but Lyerla had a string of off-field issues that resulted in him leaving the team during the 2013 season. Lyerla was also arrested on a drug charge shortly after he left the Ducks, and those issues resulted in Lyerla going undrafted.

                  I like how the video has Perkins at 5'10 even though hes 5'7. Neal is a bigger back but Perkins would be the better change of pace running back for us with his speed.

                    He plead guilty to cocaine possession in December, after he was arrested for snorting in a car.
                    Also there was this quote about him:
                    Scouts nicknamed him 'ankle bracelet.' His nickname was ankle bracelet, because he'd go dark," McShay said. "He'd be gone for days. You had to put an ankle bracelet on him to be able to locate him. I mean, the guy... it's scary.
                    Loads of talent, but a personality that you can only hide in the Arena league, I doubt even the CFL would touch him.

                      After all the shit with Hernandez and Richie last season teams aren't taking as many risks on nut jobs anymore...unless hes a 1st round talent.

                        Lyerla was apparently a first round talent, or close to it. But as MadScientist said, about the time you get busted snorting coke in your car is when you can be pretty sure you're off teams draft boards.

                          Hubbard didn't have a favorite team growing up, only a favorite player (Julius Peppers). Perhaps the Peppers signing is paying off in more ways than one.

                          Adrian Hubbard sat down with SB Nation to discuss Nolan Nawrocki, his favorite pass rushing tricks and Alabama’s greatness.

                            Lyerla wasn't even picked up as an undrafted free agent by anybody.

                              The NFL just isn't as much fun since the Bengals kind of got their act together.

                                Ironically, Neal easily had better measurables--albeit at a Pro Day. He didn't get a combine invite.

                                Neal = 5'11" 220, 4.44 40, 4.01 shuttle, 6.67 3 cone, 38" vertical, 119" broad jump, 28 bench
                                Perkins = 5'7" 197, 4.46 40, 4.30 shuttle, 7.08 3 cone, 35.5" vertical, 124" broad jump, 23 bench
