Wonder about Gruden here though. Forget that he might be forced to bail due to public spat, you were never going to win long term security with McCoy or Cousins. Does he cary enough weight to bench RGIII and publicly cover what the kid needs to do to regain his starting job? Put the onus back on the kid, which he probably needs to have done.

People watching the Browns closely knew it wasn't. It was the return of Josh Gordon and injuries to WRs that hurt the offense the most. Word is there was pressure from above to start Manzier. The double effect is to increase the suckitude of the team, and have the team lose respect for the coach, because they know he isn't in charge.
