  • Clay's thumb

Are any of you worried about his thumb? Can he really come back from TWO Bennett's fractures in so short a time?

After the second surgery they said things were tightened up so much it was not likely to break ever again. However he was not part of the OTA's so there seems to be some use/healing issue still lingering. Of course he's spent so much time working on the thumb that his hammy will blow the first week he can practice.

I was expecting a rock video from some hot new band named "Clays Thumb"

They're just holding him out because that is what they do with the returning injured. The thumb has had like seven months to heal since the surgery, and unless CMIII has premature osteoporosis I don't think he's any more likely to rebreak it than anyone else who plays his position.

We need some commentary from a certain poster with pretty advanced sports injury knowledge.

His thumb, or hamstrings, or big toe nail or something will have him missing time. I have no confidence in Clay's durability.

i think he needs to learn how to play with some kind of splint on his thumb for the extra support. i have no faith in any part of his body NOT breaking, or pulling

Once he finds the right balance of PEDs or a Florida anti-aging doctor, things will be all right.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

You left out European ligament repair.

And Alex Rodriguez's Canadian blood spinner. He needs to get out of jail first, I think.

I think Kobe went to Europe for his knee, but they forgot his achilles.

Looks like I got my Kobe injuries mixed up. Let's change that to European Arthritis Surgery.

Not to be confused with Colorado Arthritis Therapy.
