I am actually not sure how revolutionary this play is, why its not essentially a bubble screen (do bubble screens always have blocking OL?) but its another reminder that one of McCarthy's coaching buddies (Kevin Sumlin and his OC) is a seriously hot coaching candidate right now. Its good he is keeping current.
