Some terrible playcalling/decisions by the Cowboys basically handed the 49ers that game.

The game was never close. It was 28-3 until 1 minute left in the 3rd quarter and 28-10 at the 2 minute warning. Why demean their easy win at Dallas?

Dallas dominated that game in the trenches... SF got out of there with a W b/c Romo was worse than rusty. SF may have won, but Dallas looked like the better team.

Lions are more lucky than good, I'm telling ya.

Good/great QBs like Brees and Ryan threw gimme picks in the clutch against them. Missed FG replayed. Fins choking in the clutch. The Lions could've easily gone 0-3 in the past 3 weeks.

Then again, I'm telling ya, one time I lost a nice stack to a bad beat, started to tilt, rebuy for 200 bucks, went ALL-IN the very next hand without even looking at my cards and tripled up.

Point is, it's better to be lucky than good.

San Fran was up 28-3 at halftime and Dallas never even came close to getting back into the game. I don't care how you thought they looked. That was never a game.

Indeed. And because they keep winning, they are building confidence. A confident team that knows they can win, even when the ball doesn't bouce their way is hard to beat.

If at least one of the starting guards plays (+ Burnett), Let's make it Pack 28, Bears 20

Curse of Steelers strikes again. Non prime time game I am not watching?

They get smoked by the imploding Jets.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Marshawn Lynch is in beast mode today.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

If a team dominates another team in the trenches - if they played 10 times, the team that was dominate on the LOS would win 7/10 of those games.

I watched the game, and without Romo throwing the ball all over the park, Dallas would have won that game and been in complete command the whole way. Romo was rusty, and it cost the Cowboys the game.

That is an objective synopsis of that game. I don't have a horn to toot or an axe to grind for either team - just calling it the way it was. Dallas was much more physical, and in general pushed the Niners around.
