  • An agent who is doing his job

...or just darn lucky! Carson Palmer tore his ACL yesterday, the same one he tore in 2006. NFP had this to say about it:

History appears to repeat itself here. Days before Palmer’s first ACL tear, he signed a $119 million contract extension with the Bengals. Last week he signed a $50 million contract extension with the Cardinals. Certainly this is bad injury luck, but fortuitous contract timing.

Maybe the doctors need to check the x-rays again. That is some crazy good luck for Palmer from a dollars and cents standpoint.
It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

The guy who got Jay Cutler his contract extension isn't too shabby either.
      I can't run no more
      With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
      Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
      A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

The Cards are winning games with one heart beat, to paraphrase Trent Dilfer. Palmer is a poor man's Troy Aikman, but the Cards might still be capable of winning games without him.

Besides, Stanton did beat the 69ners earlier this season. Then again, so did Jay-C.

Maybe he's like grampa, would knew it was going to rain when his knees ached?
