So, company Christmas party tonight, I'm bloody loaded (http://millstreetbrewery.com/#/ourbeers/ - drinking the 100th Meridian) and I figure I'm not going to be conscious in time for the 1pm kick-off. Don't want to be on record as the first schmuck ever to miss kick-off time to start the gameday thread, so here it is now!
Gut check game time, this one is huge. Top notch opponent, a win here is a big statement. After 2 weeks of silliness, the Packers game down to earth last week, and were reminded this is a league where parity rules.
So everyone's talking about Gronkowski. Well, he's a pretty formidable Pollock (or Ukrainian?) but really, it's not about him, it's Brady or bust for that team. I still think Bledsoe got a shitty deal, but 4 rings is 4 rings, right? Ok, I lied, Gronkowski scares me, and I don't trust the DL to pressure Brady enough.
Perry looks to be back, that's good news. It allows Mathews is freedom to roam, so reminiscent of Woodson's heyday. Give Mathews freedom to pick and choose his spots out there, and he'll be successful.
Another week, still healthy and even getting back Perry after a couple of weeks on the sidelines. Is this the year the Pack dodges the killer injuries? We can hope!
Well that's enough for me - night all, and catch you all at halftime!
